This was one of my favorite weddings so far to film! It was such a stunning day that reflected the joy and happiness that radiated from Harry and Alice. Tyn Dwr Hall is set in basically the middle of nowhere, which made it perfect for a day like this.
A beautiful wedding in the center of Liverpool with sun out, and a huge close knit family making Nathan & Isabel’s day really lovely to film + Photograph. With the bride’s family being Columbian it made the day all that more exciting, with lots of Spanish throughout!
The church was a beautiful setting, huge windows, with loads of natural light and space, and the Venue at the Liver Building was no different, so much light and white space. I love shooting weddings down on the docks of Liverpool, they have such character.
Watch the wedding film
Lots of emotion, light and sun made for some nice photos. 🙂
Techincal stuff: This wedding was all shot on the Fujifilm X-H1, which was fuji’s latest camera at the time, and amazing to use. Very fast, and able to cope with any light situations I encountered throughout the day. The low light capabilities were phenomenal, and as usual, the Fuji colours are stunning. Have a look below at some of the pictures, the exif data is there when you click on the images so you can see the lenses, but mostly its the 16mm F1.4 + 35mm f1.4.
Mike and Jo’s wedding was a beautiful September wedding, with an intimate reception in the lovely setting The Stanneylands created. We loved escaping to do portraits with them into the trees, all the green gave such a nice backdrop to the day. They had great speeches, and concluded their meal by cutting their cheese ‘cake’.
We would capture this day again – hopefully, we can be back at The Stanneylands again soon.
I also put together a printed wedding album from the day which came out really well!
